1 Use 6' (2m) of conditioned thread to string the sterling silver knot cup and 1B. Tie a knot around the B, leaving an 8" (20cm) tail.

Row 1: String 1A. String 1A, 1 topaz 3mm, 1A, 1B, 1A, 1 burgundy 4mm, 1A, and 1B twenty-nine times. String 1A, 1 topaz 3mm, 2A, the gold-filled knot cup, and 1B.

2 Tie a knot around the last B strung and pass back through the knot cup and 1A.

Row 2: String 1A, 1B, 1A, 1 burgundy brandy 4mm, 1A, 1B, and 1A, and pass back through the last B strung in Row 1. String 1A, 1D, 1A, 1 light Colorado topaz satin 5mm, 1A, 1D, and 1A and pass back through the next B strung in Row 1 (Figure 1). Repeat entire step twenty-eight times.
